Mónica Begovich

Native from Mexico City.
She began her harpsichord studies at the UNAM National School of Music under the tutelage of Dr. Lucero Enríquez Rubio and Maestra Luisa Durón Crespo.
She continued her studies at the Utrecht Conservatory, the Netherlands under the direction of Siebe Henstra, obtaining a Bachelor of Music degree in 2010.
As part of her academic training, she has taken master classes with professors: Ewals Dameyere, Bob van Asperen, Ana Mafalda Castro, Pascal Dubreui, Reitze Smits, Wilbert Hazelzet and Heiko ter Schegget.
During her artistic career she has performed with different ensembles in: The Fenter van Vlissingen room (Utrecht), the Reception Hall of the National Museum of Art, and the Archbishop's Palace, both is Mexico city and the Bartolomé de Medina theater (Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico), among others.

She is currently part of the "Fundación Sonora Ernesto García de León" Ensemble and works as a harpsichord teacher at the Escuela Superior de Música at the National Center for the Arts.
